The Thai anti-government protestors by Wednesday night had set fire to at least 27 spots in Thailand's capital Bangkok, a Thai television reported.

Thailand's TPBS Television reported on Wednesday night that one of the attacked places is the shopping complex Central World, which was set on fire on Wednesday afternoon.

Hence, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has warned that the Central World building could collapse, the Bangkok Post's website quoted other TV reports as saying.

The blaze is reported to have spread throughout the eight-story building to the top floor.

The Bangkok residents have been warned to stay away from the building.

A curfew has been imposed across Bangkok and some other areas as the government issued a statement via TV Wednesday afternoon, forbidding the public to go outdoors from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a. m. Thursday.

The government is now attempting to stabilize the country's political situation after the two-month anti-government rally in central Bangkok ended on Wednesday afternoon.
