Death toll rises to 21 in tribal clash in Pakistan

The death toll of a clash which broke out between two tribes late Thursday night in Shikarpur, a city in northern Sindh province of Pakistan, has risen to 21, reported local English TV channel Express.

According to the report, the clash was triggered off by land dispute between two local tribes of Magni and Qambarani and at least four people were also injured in the clash which is still going on until the filing of the story.

Police have arrived at the scene following the reported clash. However, they have lost control over the situation, said the report.

No further details about the clash are immediately available as the incident took place late at night time.

Tribal clashes are frequently reported in Pakistan, especially in its southern Sindh province. In the capital city of Sindh province Karachi, reports about such clashes almost come in on a daily basis.
