Local medical workers are dressing the wounds of a twenty-five years old man who has been beaten during the violence in Osh, Kyrgyzstan in 2010.Since 10 June 2010, violent clashes plunged the south of Kyrgyzstan into chaos and led to an acute humanitarian crisis, with hundreds of people wounded and large displacements of population. Some of the civilians took refuge across the border into Uzbekistan. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides emergency assistance to those in need on both sides of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan; and supports local health structures in Osh and Jalalabad.[Alexander GLYADYELOV]
