A Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) orthopeadic surgeon cares for a patient with external fixator.At the end of fighting between the Sri Lankan army and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam rebels in May 2009, approximately 280,000 persons out of the war zone had been in camps run by the government for several months.Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) opened a temporary hospital in front of the largest camp, Menik Farm, to provide medical and surgical care for war wounded and displaced. The Menik Farm was closed at the end of January 2010 as the number medical cases decrease.[Anne YZEBE/MSF]
