Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said on Wednesday that China and Russia have agreed on crude oil prices during the 16th regular meeting between the two countries' prime ministers.

Liu told a regular press briefing that Russia is abundant in energy resources. China and Russia enjoy considerable potential for cooperation, he added.

"The two countries will expand energy cooperation under the principle of mutual benefit," he said.
