Singaporean Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K. Shanmugam will pay an official visit to China from Feb. 9 to 11, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin made the announcement in Beijing on Friday.
According to Liu, this is Shanmugam first visit to China since he took the office. He will hold talks with Yang, and will also meet Chinese leaders and officials from relevant departments.
Liu said China is ready to work with Singapore to promote sustained development of the China-Singapore good-neighborly relationship of cooperation.
