Suspect captured in deadly Finnish shooting

A shooting incident happened in Hyvinkaa, a southern city of Finland in the early morning of Saturday. One person was killed, eight were injured. The suspected was captured by the police in the morning of the day.

According to Finnish media, a vicious shooting occurred in Hyvinkaa, a southern city of Finland in the early morning of Saturday. A gunman used a large-caliber rifle to shoot to restaurants and shop from roof of a building located near the central railway station in the center of Hyvinkaa. An 18-year local woman was shot dead, the other eight persons were injured, of which two were seriously wounded.

The police rushed to scene in a few minutes after the shooting occurred. The gunman also shot to the police, causing a female police seriously wounded. All the injured are young people. The eight injured, including the female police, have been sent to hospital.

The Finnish police said in the press conference held in the morning of Saturday that the suspect was captured by the police in the morning. The murder is an 18-year local man. The suspect himself does not have gun licence, and he got guns from his friends. The police are doing further investigation on the incident.
