Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer, who is known to be fond of giving astonishing statements to the press, has declared on Russian TV that aliens already walk among humans, but they are refusing to share their advanced technologies.

Hellyer, who was a Liberal defense minister from 1963 to 1967 under Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, claims that there are 80 different species of extra-terrestrials, some of whom "look just like us and they could walk down the street and you wouldn't know if you walked past one," he told Russia Today's program, SophieCo, on Saturday.

The 90-year-old also declared that he had seen about 50 UFOs in formation flying south from Russia across Europe in 1961.

The ex-defense minister also talked about aliens' concern about the global atomic arsenal.
