Capital Museum of China brings the works of Hong Kong jewellery designer Wallace Chan to Beijing with a sculpture jewellery exhibit.

The exhibition, From Heaven Brought the Craftsmanship of a Soul, displays 197 major works of the world-class jewellery designer, dividing them into two categories: sculpture (created with jewellery) and jewellery (the wearable kind).

Through his sculptures, Chan, whose Mandarin name is Chen Shiying, presents a unique kind of jewellery art that merges sculpture art with jewellery design. He goes beyond traditional jewellery design techniques and applies modern optics, metallurgy, mosaic and cutting.
