Professor Bai said that the murals were composed of a large number of Buddhism-inspired geometric patterns and symbols, including Sakyamuni, Maitreya, Thousand-Buddha and lotus. In addition to Tibetan scriptures, partial preface in Han characters can be detected. A large number of 10-centimeter figures of Buddha and towers were also discovered.
