Fans face long wait for final Twilight movie

Mark your calendars, Twihards. The final film in the "Twilight" vampire franchise will come out on November 16, 2012.
Part two of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will hit theaters a year after part one. This is despite both films being shot back-to-back in the fall by director Bill Condon.
Distributor Summit Entertainment split Stephenie Meyer's 900-page "Breaking Dawn" book into two films after realizing it was too complex to be adapted into a single movie.
The third film, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," is nearing the end of its North American run with sales to date of $289 million, still $7 million short of the tally for the previous film, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," released last November.
