Two Czech musicians, Zdeněk Bina and Jan Urbanec, staged a Jazz Duo at Czech Embassy in Beijing last night, October 21st, 2010.
The performance, along with two exhibitions; paintings from Sichuan native Yang Liming and sculptures by Fujian native Zhou Fan, are considered to be a part of the Czech Embassy’s new “Embassyart” program initiated this past July.
“Embassyart” is a cultural program held by the Czech Embassy in Beijing to aid in bridging the cultures of China and the Central European nation. The program will run until 2013.
Czech automobile maker Škoda and Chinese telecom solutions provider Huawei are sponsoring the program.
