Actress Liu Tao has been cast as a royal concubine in the all-star epic film "Jian Dang Wei Ye" ("The Founding of a Party").
The website has released some still photos showing Liu Tao as Jin Fei, one of the concubines of Guangxu, the penultimate emperor of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
"The Founding of a Party", set during the eventful beginning of the 20th century, recalls the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Liu Tao, also known as Tamia, previously worked as a television actress.
