The organizing committee for the International Ballet and Choreography Competition has chosen chairmen of the jury for its final round of competition to be held in Beijing in July.

Doris Laine, director of the Finnish National Ballet and Komische Oper Ballet Company, will be the chairman of the jury for the ballet section, while Lin Huaimin, founder of the Cloud Gate Dance Theater, will be the chairman of the jury for the choreography section.

The competition, a new event, is hosted by the National Center for the Performing Arts and will take place July 7 to 17.
