The clay used for potting is the special modeling clay in Xishuangbanna. The process flow is described as follows: thrashing modeling clay with wooden hammer until no grain is found in medeling clay, and then putting modeling clay to one side of rotating wood pile, rotating wood pile as pasting modeling clay into various instruments with hands; stamping flower pattern and engraving characters on external surface of instruments by wood board with flower pattern after drying in the sun, finally baking them into earth kiln, and tapping them off after about 3-6 hours, then using them after polishing them a little bit.
