This year 's fresh film line-up, to be screened at commercial venues and cultural institutes includes: "Museum Hours", from Austria; "Approved for Adoption" from Belgium; "Kalabush" from Cyprus; "Little Otik" from the Czech Republic; "This Life" from Denmark; "Beauty and the Bastard" from Finland; "Donoma" from France; "The Stroller Strategy" from France; "Winter's Daughter" from Germany; "The Guide" from Greece; "Tragedy of Man" from Hungary; "Pilgrim Hill" from Ireland; "The Best Offer" from Italy; "Fireheart: the Legend of Tadas Blinda" from Lithuania; "Blind Spot" from Luxembourg; "Plan C" from the Netherlands; "Imagine" from Poland; "Florbela" from Portugal; "First of All, Felicia" from Romania; "Feed Me with Your Words" from Slovenia; "The Sleeping Voice" from Spain; "Cockpit" from Sweden; "Berberian Sound Studio" from the United Kingdom; and the short "Coming Attractions", from Austria.
Following the sixth edition of the EUFF, the second edition of the EUFF Online will take place on the video platform LeTV.com for three months, starting from the end of November 2013. The EUFF Online, will showcase recent, popular and successful films from various EU member countries. Each film will be screened in its original language with Chinese subtitles.
Finally, to coincide with the launch of the 6th EUFF, the Delegation of the European Union to China has produced a series of 6 short films entitled ''EU-China Dream Seekers'', shot in various locations across Europe and China. One of the six short films will be screened before each main feature film during the festival.
One of the stars of the short films, Nikolaus Wabnitz, a young German architect pursuing his dreams in China, said: "Making your dreams come true requires great efforts, steadfastness of purpose and faith in what you are doing. The stories in these short films prove that everything is possible, even in a foreign country and whether European or Chinese, we all share similar goals to realise our dreams."
