And speaking of JJ Abrams, celebrated actor Gary Oldman has confirmed he has been approached to appear in Abrams' new Star Wars Episode VII film.

The actor hasn't decided whether he'll take a role in the film which begins shooting in the UK soon. Oldman isn't getting too excited yet though. He says he's more cynical now and will believe it when he's on the plane home after shooting the film.

He joked taking a role in the new film would be a sweet addition to his already impressive resume having appeared in Hollywood's most iconic franchises including Harry Potter, Planet of the Apes, and the Dark Knight Batman trilogy.

In 2005 Oldman was approached to voice the character of General Grievous in Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith, but ended up turning it down.

Disney hero and High School Musical star Zac Effron has also admitted he is in talks with producers to appear in the film.
