The exhibition "Forever Love Hello Kitty" kicked off in Shanghai on April 30, 2014.

Hello Kitty is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a range of global activities. As its first tour stop around 10 cities in China, the famous cat can be seen in various costumes at the current exhibit.

Over 1,000 kinds of authorized Hello Kitty products including soft toys, small domestic appliances and cosmetic products are available at the exhibition's gift shop.

The show will run through June 15.
