The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain kicked off the "Urban Series" concerts of the 17th Beijing Music Festival in the Chinese Capital lastnight.
Eight all-singing and all-strumming musicians performed a mixed set, from David Bowie's Life on Mars to Lady Gaga, and even a rearranged ancient Chinese piece, Spring River Flower Moon Night.
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain was established in 1985 and has given thousands of sold-out concerts across the world.
Members recently performed sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall and New York's Carnegie Hall.
The annual Beijing Music Festival started in 1989, bringing audiences the world's best classical music.
The Festival will run until the 31st of October.
