Film to mark World War II

"Since the film’s debut, we have got support from various theater chains and cinemas. We have sent out nearly 600 people to promote films in 209 cinemas of 25 theater chains in 26 provinces, 4 municipalities and 2 autonomous regions," China Film Group Co. said in a statement, "The three-week nationwide road show has had a positive impact and the work has made sure we saw the good results after its debut."

The statement added that they hoped more people to see the film which would "mark the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, pay tribute to martyrs, remember history and cherish the peace."
