Chinese actress Liu Wen is the eighth highest-paid model in the world, earning $7 million from endorsement deals, according to Forbes magazine.

It ranked the models based on pretax estimates of their earnings from cosmetics, fragrances and other contracts. Management, agent and attorney fees were not deducted.

No 10: Miranda Kerr

Total earnings in 2016: $6 million

The recently married former Victoria's Secret angel earned $6 million in 2016. She also has her own skincare line, Kora Organics.

No 8 (tie): Candice Swanepoel

Total earnings in 2016: $7 million

The mother-to-be Victoria's Secret angel earned $7 million from her deals with fragrance producers.

No 8 (tie): Liu Wen

Total earnings in 2016: $7 million

As a pioneer for Chinese models on the international stage, the former Victoria's Secret angel owes her thanks to Estee Lauder among others.

No 7: Cara Delevigne

Total earnings for 2016: $8.5 million

The British model has 33 million Instagram followers, the second-most popular model on the platform.

No 5 (tie): Gigi Hadid

Total earnings for 2016: $9 million

Hadid has deals with Maybelline and Tommy Hilfiger, along with advertisements with BMW and Topshop.

No 5 (tie): Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Total earnings for 2016: $9 million

The model-actress gets a royalty from her lingerie, make-up and fragrance lines with Marks & Spencer.

No 3 (tie): Kendall Jenner

Total earnings for 2016: $10 million

Jenner is the model with the most followers on Instagram. Her giant fanbase on social media landed her deals with Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs. She also frequents high-end fashion shows.

No 3 (tie): Karlie Kloss

Total earnings for 2016: $10 million

After leaving Victoria's Secret in 2015, Kloss clocked campaigns with Express, L'Oreal, Swarovski and Chanel's Coco Noir.

No 2: Adriana Lima

Total earnings for 2016: $10.5 million

Lima is the longest-running angel with Victoria's Secret. And she is the face of Maybelline, Vogue Eyewear and IWC watches.

No 1: Gisele Bundchen

Total earnings for 2016: $30.5 million

The Brazilian supermodel has lucrative deals with Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Pantene. She also has her own line of lingerie and skincare products. Even though she has officially retired from the runway, Bundchen is still topping the list, earning almost three times of what the first runner-up did in 2016.
