The9 names new president

The9 Ltd, a Chinese online game operator, yesterday announced it has appointed Chen Xiaowei as president of the company, effective May 16.

She will be responsible for managing the company's operations and strategic development, and will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Zhu Jun.
