President Hu to address BFA

Chinese President Hu Jintao is to deliver a key-note speech at the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), which will open on Saturday afternoon.

The annual meeting, with the theme of "Green Asia: moving towards win-win through changes", draws more than 1,700 participants.

The Central Television of China, China National Radio, China Radio International and Xinhuanet.com will broadcast live the opening ceremony of the annual meeting.

The BFA, established in 2001, served as a platform for high-level interaction between political, commercial and academic dignitaries from Asia and other parts of the world.
