Jie Kaiyu, vice-general manager of Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., said that the center was put into use in 2005, and provided space to hold meetings, exhibition and business talks. It has successfully held more than 700 large-scale exhibitions. “The exhibition hall on the second floor is called ‘the biggest room in Asia’ because no bearing wall can be found here” Jie said. He also added that there is a special access connecting the road and the exhibition hall so that exhibits can be transported into the exhibition center directly, which literally functions as a “door-to-door” service.

Officials from the Administrative Committee of Zhengdong New District said 119 financial institutions had moved into the CBD, making the area highly competitive in financial services. The district’s business industry is also well developed and a large number of international brands have entered the area, such as Ferrari, Rolls-Royce and Sheraton.
