China's think tanks boom in 2013

In May, Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Yandong gave a speech entitled "Developing unique advantages for higher education institutions, to give strength to new think tanks with Chinese characteristics."

In June, the Global Think Tank Summit, organized by the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, was held in Beijing.
