Chairperson:
Guo Weimin, vice minister of State Council Information Office

Date:

Il Sole 24 Ore:

I have a question for Mr. Liu Jianchao. If I understand well, Chinese people who immigrate abroad, they don't lose their hukou. Is this maybe a problem for your activity to catch people abroad?

Liu Jianchao:

Chinese citizens who immigrate to other countries and keep their hukou, according to international laws and China's Exit and Entry Administration Law, they are still citizens of People's Republic of China and will be hunted down and arrested by Operation Fox Hunt under the Sky Net Operation if they have committed economic crimes. If these people are CPC members or government officials, we can arrest them under the Sky Net Operation. There will be no barrier for us to hunt the corrupt officials and reclaim the stolen money and property.
