What are the CCDI's considerations and plans in deepening international cooperation on dealing with corruption? Is this going to be temporary or a continuous phenomenon?

Liu Jianchao:

We have assumed an active and open attitude in participating in international cooperation to deal with corruption since lastthis year. President Xi Jinping always treats the anti-corruption effort as an important topic in his talks with foreign leaders. As for the reason, we believe that in today's economic globalization trend, corruption transcends national borders and becomes a global challenge that threatens the world's security, development and prosperity. Hence, international cooperation on combating transnational corruption meets all countries' interest.

From launching the United Nations Convention against Corruption to including anti-corruption in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the international community has shown a consensus and a resolution in combating corruption. In this sense, China should not aloof. We will assume an even more open and enterprising attitude in making more contributions to the international fight against corruption. At the same time, the Chinese government's overseas hunt for fugitive corrupt officials is also an important part of the campaign. We will carry on the Sky Net action to hunt down the remaining fugitive suspects, allowing no room for them to hide, and urging those who attempt to flee to give up the their fantasies. Thank you.
