White-collar Men Prefer Not to Get Married

Most young men working in white-collar posts would rather take their marathon love than get married, while women prefer to enjoy marriage life, according to a survey.

Most white-collar men above 25 years old said without any hesitation that they didn't want to get married.

There are two reasons for their unwillingness to get married, according to an analyst. Firstly, those white-collar men don't want to take up the family burden too early, nor do they want to be family-restricted. Secondly, white-collar men like to try new work posts by frequent job-hopping, and unmarried men can enjoy better job opportunities than married ones.

A 30-year-old men surnamed Feng always called himself boy, and he often sighed these days that he would never have any happy days like before, for he would get married by the end of this month. "I am used to enjoying unfettered life, and I don't know whether I can adapt myself to be a householder," Feng said. "I wouldn't get married if my girl-friend didn't press me hard", he added.

He almost used all the explanations he could think of to persuade his girl friend to put off their marriage, a man surnamed Fang said. "It doesn't mean I don't love my girl-friend, but I am always worried that I cannot stand the limitation of marriage", Fang said.

Marriage likes an encircled city, and if you step into it, you can never enjoy free life any longer, an interviewee said.
