China Post to Adopt US Postage Management System
The China Post will use in some postal bureaus the "Postagebyphone.com system" provided by Pitney Bowes Inc., a US mailing equipment provider.

The system can enable postal offices to manage postage through telephone or the Internet and largely increases the efficiency of postal work, said a China Post manager.

According to a contract of partnership signed between China Post and Pitney Bowes, the system will be implemented in 15 provincial-level postal bureaus including Shanghai, Guangdong and Sichuan.

The contract is expected to increase Pitney Bowes's share in the Chinese market to 42 percent.

Pitney Bowes Chairman & CEO Michael Critelli said his company has established a strategic partnership with a Chinese company to manufacture high-tech mailing equipment in China.
