China's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported no new confirmed or suspected SARS cases in the 24 hours from 10 AM Monday to 10 AM Tuesday.

The MOH also reported that the SARS patient in Beijing is in stable condition and the one in east China's Anhui Province is continuing to recover.

The SARS patient in Beijing, surnamed Li, is in relatively stable condition and has reported a normal temperature for 11 straight days, the ministry said.

Beijing's five suspected SARS patients were isolated in Ditan Hospital for treatment and observation.

Twelve of the patient's close contacts have been removed from medical observation, the ministry said.

The patient in Anhui, surnamed Song, is continuing to recover. All people who had close contact with her reported no abnormal symptoms and 36 have been removed from medical observation, the ministry said.

The mainland has reported one confirmed and one suspected SARS case in Anhui, and one confirmed and five suspected cases in Beijing since April 22.
