Man Charged with Girl's Murder

On Monday Took Leng How, a 22-year-old vegetable seller, was charged with murdering a Chinese girl early last month in Singapore. Huang Na, 8, was reported missing in a vegetable wholesale center on October 10.

On Sunday, the Singapore police found a badly decomposed girl's body, believed to be that of Huang Na, in a park. The discovery came after Took had given himself up to the police on Saturday.

The Singapore police had previously questioned Took before he fled the island state on October 21. The police said that there was no suggestion that any other accomplices were involved so far, but investigations are still underway.
