China Post to Speed up Mail Service

China Post will launch an "All Night Flight" delivery program to speed up its Express Mail Service (EMS) which is expected to shorten the express time by one day.

The program will take effect in more than 27 provinces of China on August 18. EMS mail will reach households faster, but the price won't be increased.

Ma Junsheng, deputy director of the State Post Bureau, told a news conference Tuesday that China Post is devoted to improving its facilities to provide high-quality service to clients.

China Post has also set up its international mail delivery business and regional service in the Yangtze River delta, Pearl- river delta and Bohai area, said Ma.

The "All Night Flight" program will improve the competitiveness of China's EMS business in the world, said an unidentified expert.
