Shenyang's public security bureau hosted a launching ceremony for its police helicopter in Taoxian Airport on April 16, which marked the police helicopter of the city has officially taken its post.

The EC135 police helicopter can accommodate 7 people and is mainly responsible for various police missions in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, such as aerial police patrol and rescue. It makes Shenyang the pioneer in northeast China to practice police patrol with the help of a helicopter.
