Adjust font size:

An exhibition opened its door to the public on Saturday at the Military Museum of Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing to illustrate the ups and downs of China on the road of national revival since 1840.

The exhibition, titled with Road of Revival, showed important historical events that Chinese people have experienced since 1840, when China was forced to open its door to foreign powers after the defeat in the Opium War.

It focuses on a heroic course of all Chinese, the Han nationality and minorities, to fight for their freedom, liberation and the country's revival with the guidance by the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Decorated with thousands of pictures, historical archives, relics and models, the exhibition was divided into five chapters in time sequence, underlining that only the CPC and socialism with Chinese character could lead Chinese to the road of revival.

The exhibition, sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, will be open to the public for about two months.
