Lanterns up on bridge over the Yellow River

To celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, big red Chinese lanterns lit up the arches of the Zhongshan Bridge over the Yellow River in Lanzhou, capital of northwestern China's Gansu province on Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Completed in 1909, the highly valued Zhongshan Bridge is the first bridge to cross the Yellow River.
