Traditional ice fishing in Xinjiang
Adjust font size:

A winter fishing festival will be held in Fuhai County in southwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at the end of January. This traditional ice fishing method can be traced back to more than 50 years ago. The record of the most fish caught in one net was 83 tons, which was created in the 1970s.
