Social workers to sit 1st proficiency test

The first Nationwide Proficiency Test of Social Workers will be held June 28-29, marking a milestone in the social worker assessment system, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The test will emphasize practical solutions to social problems as well as theories.

The exam syllabus has been published by China Social Publisher, with a primary level for assistant social workers and an intermediate level for social workers.

The test will be conducted jointly by the Ministry of Personnel and Ministry of Civil Affairs.
