A bridge to link the city
Adjust font size:

A worker stands by the gigantic Changjiang Bridge now under construction at the mouth of Yangtze River. A 105-meter concrete and steel beam weighing 2,300 tons was lifted into place yesterday — it was the 90 percent completion mark for the bridge which will connect Shanghai's mainland and Chongming Island. The bridge is 50 meters wide.
