Typhoon Sinlaku Has Killed 23 in Zhejiang
Twenty-three people have been killed and 5 reported missing by the press time as typhoon Sinlaku stroke east China's Zhejiang Province.

Sinlaku, the 16th typhoon of this year, arrived at Cangnan County of Wenzhou city at 18:30 Saturday, bringing strong gales and heavy rains.

More than 7.21 million people and 170,000 hectares of farmland have been affected and 7,900 houses collapsed.

In the most-severely hit Wenzhou city, 16 people have been killed and 3,800 houses collapsed.

The local government has sent out 18 rescue groups to the severely affected areas to help fight against the disaster.
