Top Legislature Adopts Supreme Court's Judge Appointments

The Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC), or China's top legislature, adopted the judicial appointments to the Supreme People's Court at its 17th session.

Zhang Jun was appointed vice president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), member of SPC's judicial committee and SPC's judge.

Xiong Xuanguo was appointed vice president of the Supreme People's Court.

Gao Guijun was appointed Chief Judge of the fifth Criminal Court, and was relieved from his position as the Associate Chief Judge of the Judicial Supervision Court.

Zhou Feng was appointed Associate Chief Judge of the First Criminal Court.

Pei Xianding and Ye Xiaoying (f.) were appointed Associate Chief Judges of the Second Criminal Court.

Dai Changlin was appointed Associate Chief Judge of the third Criminal Court.

Shen Liang was appointed Associated Chief Judge of the fourth Criminal Court.

Zhang Ming and Wang Yong were appointed Associated Chief Judges of the fifth Criminal Court.

Yang Linping (f) was appointed Associate Chief Judge of the Administrative Court.

Jiang Wei was appointed Associate Chief Judge of the Judicial Supervision Court.
