In cerebration of the centennial anniversary of Chinese movies in 2005, the country will launch its own box office rankings next Tuesday.
   
A special ceremony will be held on March 1st in Beijing to present awards to last year's box office champions. Film stars from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong are due to show up at the event.

Jointly held by the Chinese Director's Association, Film Publishing Association and Cinema Association, the box office chart is the first of its kind in China.
