Beijing Shows Love to Single Elderly in New Year

Beijing's more than 1,000 single elderly people will not be left alone to spend the traditional New Year's Eve.

Launched by a local social community, some 1,000 volunteers will make dumplings and chat with these elderly to spent the night.

Volunteers ranged from only 18 years' old to 66 years' old. All committed to show their warm hearts to the single elderly.

There are over 100,000 single elderly in Beijing, who don't have children visiting.
