Andy Lau Recognized for Contributions to HK Film Industry

During his two-decade acting career, veteran Hong Kong entertainer Andy Lau has won numerous awards and remains at the height of popularity. 

Now his efforts have also been recognized by the Mont Blanc Arts Patronage Awards, which were established to recognize actors' contributions to various aspects of filmmaking.

Besides an exquisite gold Mont Blanc pen, the star also received 1,500 Euros. The actor received the recognition for his endeavors in the development of Hong Kong's movie industry and for the support he has given to newcomers to the industry.

After receiving the award, Andy Lau left for Ukraine to star in director Zhang Yimou's latest production "Living in Danger."
