Popular Artistes Help Promote Clean HK Message
A new series of TV Announcements in the Public Interest will be screened in local TV stations to foster a clean Hong Kong culture in a lively way, a government release said Sunday.

Four popular Hong Kong artistes, Leon Lai, Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng and Alex Fong, will appear in the TV announcements to help promote the message. They have all offered their services free of charge.

Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang, who is also incharge of Team Clean visited the artistes in late June when they were taking part in the filming to thank them for their commitments to the campaign.

Team Clean is a Hong Kong government's newly-launched group to promote hygiene conditions in Hong Kong.

The team has developed a comprehensive strategy to help change the way Hong Kong people regard their living environment, including promoting individual and community-wide involvement, civic education and effective enforcement action against breaches of food, hygiene and cleanliness regulations, etc.
