CNOOC Posts 63 Percent Growth in Profits

China National Offshore Oil Corp., the country's largest offshore oil producer, recorded 1.1 billion yuan (US$145.2 million) in net profits for the first half of this year, a growth of 63.4 percent over the same period of last year, company sources announced on Wednesday.
