During a recent internal meeting, Chery, China's renowned automaker, announced that the company would like to sell 480 thousand cars in 2008 and would launch 3 brand new types of automobiles into the market.

In addition, the authorities have approved the company's plan of building a state-level engineering lab. This future establishment will be the only one of its kind in Chinese automobile industry.
