Music fans can't wait until July 24th!

That's when the 7th CCTV-MTV Music Honors will be held at Beijing Worker's Gymnasium.

This year's awards will invite popular punk band "Simple Plan" to be the sole overseas guest. This will also be the band's debut in China.

Two new categories have been added to recognize the best song and best singer for mobile phone ring tones.

Famous pop singers including JJ Lam have already begun their tour around the country reviving fans' enthusiasm from the end of last month.

The CCTV-MTV Music Honors were launched by China Central Television and MTV Networks in 1999. In last year's awards, Zhang Ziyi picked up the award for most outstanding actress.
