Int'l Animation, Comic Works Carnival to Be Held in Wuhan

An international carnival featuring animation and comic works will be held in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, during the forthcoming national holiday.

Cartoonists from 72 countries and regions will exhibit 1,067 pieces of works at the carnival, according to information from the Wuhan City Association of World Cultural Exchange, one of the organizers for the event.

The carnival, the third of the kind and an annual event, will be available from September 30 through to October 5.

Wuhan, one of the most important industrial cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, is divided into three parts -- Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang -- by the Yangtze River and the Hanjiang River, Yangtze's tributary.
