The Journal of International Studies in English version, the only one in China at present, has started its publication, the Guangming Daily reported on Wednesday.

The journal, a quarterly review, will be distributed publicly on the overseas market. The journal will focus on international politics, economics, security and global strategies

Ma Zhengang, director of China Institute of International Studies, said China's development has drawn world attention and the Journal will showcase China's academic achievements in international studies.

The journal will help English readers overcome language barriers and promote academic exchanges, Ma said.

The journal is under the auspices of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the China Institute of International studies, he said.
