Li Changchun watches inaugural concert of int'l music festival

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau, watched the inaugural concert of the Tenth Beijing International Music Festival Friday.

Beijing Party chief Liu Qi and State Councilor Chen Zhili were also among the audience.

The Beijing International Music Festival is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Beijing's municipal government.

The First Beijing International Music Festival was held in 1998, and this year's will last through October 26.
